With a Try & Hire solution, your company gets an efficient, simple, and secure process where a candidate starts as a temporary employee and, after a trial period, can transition into a permanent role.
A Try & Hire process lasts 16 weeks. During this period, Temp-Team is the employer and takes care of all administrative tasks. Once the period ends, you can hire the employee permanently at no additional cost.
This gives you the opportunity to assess both skills and cultural fit before committing to an employment contract – helping you avoid costly hiring mistakes.

How Try & Hire works at Temp-Team
A Try & Hire process begins as a standard temporary assignment under general temporary employment terms.
- Temp-Team acts as the employer during the trial period and handles all administrative tasks.
- The transition to permanent employment takes place automatically once the period ends—at no additional cost.
- If you wish to hire the candidate permanently earlier, a proportional fee will be charged.
Needs assessment
In collaboration with you, we identify the profile you are looking for.
Selection & presentation
We screen and present relevant candidates.
Evaluation & dialogue
During the process, we carry out continuous follow-ups to ensure that the collaboration runs smoothly.
Temporary employment (16 weeks)
The candidate is employed by Temp-Team and works at your company.
Permanent employment (optional)
If everything is a good fit, you can take over the employee at no additional cost.
