The establishment of Temp-Team
Company culture
With a dream of having an influence on his own working life, Erik Juhler took the first steps and establish Temp-Team. In 1979, the first Temp-Team office was established in Copenhagen.
He brought with him solid experience from the recruitment world and the awareness of what a difference it makes for people to experience that their contribution to the labour market has value.
From day one, this has meant that the focus has been on creating relationships with the individual customer. Even in today's digitised world, this is a value that Temp-Team do not compromise on. Erik Juhler quickly saw how the personal meeting helped to create the best results.
The international adventure started in Norway in 1985, and today, Temp-Team also has a prominent role on the recruitment scene in Sweden and Finland. One cannot say that Temp-Team has undergone aggressive expansion. We have focused on organic growth and only a few acquisitions of existing companies. Our experience is that it is virtually impossible to apply our corporate culture to other companies. Quite often, expansion has been a consequence of internal conditions.
Erik Juhler's mission has been clear from the start: to connect people with the right jobs so that both individuals and companies grow.
Often we are asked what differentiates us from other companies. One of the answers is absolutely that almost all employees throughout the group have met Erik Juhler and know his attitudes and the culture he wants to characterise our company. Although Erik Juhler retired in 2021 this is still accurate.
