About the job 

We are looking for a skilled Advanced Microscopy Technician for our client’s physics and semiconductor laboratory in Kongens Lyngby. The lab is among the most advanced in Europe and you get to work with cutting edge technology in a highly dynamic environment of scientist, researchers and engineers trying to push the boundaries of computing. 

 

As an Advanced Microscopy Technician, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated measurements according to standardized protocols, composing reports and communicating results with relevant teams

Responsibility 

  • Operate SEM, OM, AFM and other microscopy technologies. 
  • Provide service delivery expertise in using complex imaging tools like Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). 
  • Handle fragile material with care. 
  • Form and submit reports on the findings based on the pre-defined forms. 
  • Communicate and report to the lead person. 
  • Provide service delivery in English (oral and written). 
  • Continuously improve the service quality and efficiency. 


Qualifications 
You should hold a master’s degree in an experimental science (physics, nanotech, chemistry etc.). 

  • Knowledge of, and direct hands-on experience with optical, scanning electron and atomic force microscopes 
  • Programming experience, especially with Python, would be a strong plus 
  • Experience with industrial statistical tools (JMP) – would be an advantage 
  • Experience in a production environment in a relevant field (such as semiconductor industry) is considered as an advantage
