About the job
We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant for our client’s physics and research laboratory in Kongens Lyngby. The Laboratory and clean room are among the most advanced in Europe and you get to work with cutting edge technology in a highly dynamic environment of scientist, researchers and engineers trying to push the boundaries of technology.
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will help ensure that the laboratories are well organized, running efficiently, and that workstations and equipment have minimal downtime.
Responsibility
- Organize labs and ensure cleanliness and safety
- Monitor and re-fill lab consumables and inventory
- Logistic Support - shipping and receiving activities
- Execute work according to SOPs
- Arrange maintenance and other support
- Support with basic maintenance tasks
- Facilitate equipment servicing
- Help load samples and handle materials
- Support other Teams and workstations in reaching their targets
Continuously improve the service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience as a Laboratory Assistant, Production Assistant, Process Operator, Maintenance Assistant, QC Assistant or similar from a manufacturing environment would be preferred.Other qualities we hope the candidate has:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Hands-on problem solver, engaging (get things done).
- Strong Communication skills.
- Positive and open minded.
Fluent in English
