We are looking for a Quantum Measurement Technician for our client’s physics and semiconductor laboratory in Kongens Lyngby. The lab is among the most advanced in Europe and you get to work with cutting edge technology in a highly dynamic environment of scientist, researchers and engineers trying to push the boundaries of computing.
The work scope ranges from measurement of III-V material based electrical devices at cryogenic temperatures, stabilizing the associated packaging, analysis, organization and presentation of the measurement data.
Other responsibility
- Electrical characterization and Measurement
- Assemble electronics, wire bond, test jig assemblies.
- Load testers, initiate testing start.
- Handle fragile material with care.
- Perform visual inspection.
- Provide service delivery expertise in electrical testing of semiconductor components, including familiarity with various testing equipment and assembly tasks.
- Communicate and report to the lead person.
- Packaging of samples for electrical characterization
- Continuously improve the service quality and efficiency.
- Help train new employees
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate with a master’s degree in an experimental science (electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, nanotech, etc.) with experience in most of the below-mentioned:
- Experience with electrical test and measurement
- 1+ year experience using at least two of the following for electrical testing on regular basis: SMUs, LCR meter, analog pre-amplifiers, semiconductor parameter analyzer
- A strong physics and semiconductor background
- Experience writing Python scripts to control lab equipment and analyze data, basic understanding of Git
- Interested in solving technical problems that require collaboration differently skilled technicians/engineers
- Strong organizational skills.
- Hands-on problem solver, engaging.
- Enjoys collaborating with researchers and technical staff with a range of experience. Efficient, timely, and precise.
- Strong communication skills.
- Research and/or lab experience.
- Ability to quickly integrate and work in a multidisciplinary, international team and effectively collaborate and communicate to meet the deadlines and deliver against program goals.
