We are seeking a Senior Quantum Machine Learning Engineer to join our client’s dynamic, multidisciplinary team advancing the frontier of scalable quantum computing.
The team brings together a highly talented and diverse international group dedicated to building the world’s first scalable quantum computing system, working closely with internal research teams developing next‑generation quantum processing hardware.
About the position
The team leverages machine learning to accelerate quantum computing simulations.
In this position you get to develop novel models at this intersection of chemistry and quantum computing.
- Design and develop machine learning models for quantum computing, chemistry, and materials simulation use cases.
- Implement production‑quality Python and C++/CUDA code, including clear documentation
- Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and hardware specialists to integrate Machine Learning methods into simulation workflows.
- Optimize models and pipelines for high‑performance computing environments, including GPU‑accelerated workloads.
- Identify and drive high‑impact Machine Learning opportunities, from concept to deployed solution.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience developing Machine Learning architecture for molecular/materials simulations
- Strong Machine Learning engineering and High‑Performance Computing experience
- Familiarity with quantum chemistry tools
Background in chemistry, materials science, quantum computing or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving business needs.
- Demonstrated experience in proactively identifying machine learning opportunities and driving impactful outcomes is highly desirable.
- Experience collaborating with hardware teams and developing software solutions tailored to their needs is a plus.
- Experience with quantum algorithms or quantum chemistry methods
Practical information - Location: Remote - all countrys are possible, but European time zone is preferred - (the position can also be onsite in Denmark if preferred)
