On behalf of one of the world’s leading and most recognized tech companies, we are looking for a skilled Facility Support Engineer – Electrical - to their Data Center in Høje Taastrup.
As a Data Center Facility Support Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.
You will play a vital part in making the Data Center daily operations run smoothly. The roles responsibility includes:
- Support electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones
- Perform monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety)
- Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and conducting Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
- Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns and PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements.
- Master controller shutdown or replacement.
- Maintain a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Diploma as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical technician, Electrician, Electronics Mechanics, or similar
- 3+ year(s) work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g. automotive, electrical, controls, marine, data centers or similar)
- Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables.
