About the jobWe are looking for a Lab Operations Technician for our client’s physics and semiconductor laboratory in Copenhagen. The lab is among the largest in Europe and you get to work with cutting edge technology in a highly dynamic environment of scientist, researchers and engineers trying to push the boundaries of computing. This research program is allocated on 7 sites distributed over 3 continents.
As a Lab Operations Technician, you will play a crucial role in making sure that the Lab is operational and running smoothly.
Responsibility
- Arrange maintenance and other support
- Facilitate equipment servicing
- Execute simple maintenance tasks
- Manage consumables and inventory.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities.
- Organize labs and ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Support other workstations in reaching their targets.
- Provide service delivery expertise in micro- and nanofabrication environment.
- Communicate and report to the lead.
- Continuously improve the service quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in an experimental science (physics, nanotech, chemistry, etc.) and have experience (can be from a student position) with some of the below mentioned:
- Arranging of lab/workstation/equipment maintenance
- Equipment servicing
- Lab cleanliness and safety
- Inventory management
- Organizing of Lab
- Experience with basic semiconductor fabrication tools, for thin film deposition, lithography and etching tools with measuring equipment will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
You are highly communicative and can adapt to changes in a dynamic, friendly and forward-thinking lab. You are creative how to solve problems and like to get things done.
- Strong organizational skills.

- Enjoys collaborating with researchers and technical staff with a range of experience.
- Efficient, timely, and precise.
- Strong communication skills.
- Research and/or lab experience.
- Ability to quickly integrate and work in a multidisciplinary, international team and effectively collaborate and communicate to meet the deadlines and deliver against program goals.
