For a large global technology company, we are looking for a skilled maintenance technician for their development-laboratory in Kongens Lyngby. The laboratory is one of the largest in Europe, and here you have a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic and international environment of technicians, engineers, and specialists who are trying to push the boundaries of computing and build new groundbreaking technologies.
As a maintenance technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the laboratory is operational, and that equipment always functions as intended. You will be part of a team of 5 highly skilled employees who work together to maintain, repair, and optimize the company’s development-laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation tasks
- Maintenance and service of workstations and equipment
- Servicing pumps – replacing seals, leak detection, etc
- Troubleshooting
- Periodic maintenance
- Inventory Management for critical spare parts
- Contribute to continuous improvements
- Handle facility tasks
- Communication and reporting to the immediate supervisor
Qualifications
Your background can be diverse, but we hope that you have a certificate as a mechanic, precision mechanic, electronics mechanic, aircraft mechanic, marine engineer, machinist, blacksmith, or similar.
Additionally, we expect that you:
- Have experience with troubleshooting/maintenance of equipment
- Have experience working with mechanics or electronics
- Have a passion for your profession and are eager to apply your skills
- Are quick to get an overview and prioritize tasks
- Are respectful, tolerant, and friendly
- Can work both independently and in a team
- Have a positive attitude and are willing to take on new challenges
- Can communicate in English
