About the job 

We are looking for a hands-on Cleanroom Technician to support daily semiconductor fabrication processes in a state-of-the-art laboratory in Kongens Lyngby, just north of Copenhagen.

This role is focused on executing stable, repeatable processes, operating high-precision equipment, and ensuring quality output in a structured environment.

You will work with semiconductor fabrication in a controlled cleanroom setting, handling materials and running predefined process flows. The work involves multiple process steps that require precision, consistency, and strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the daily operation of the lab, supporting a team of engineers and researchers by ensuring that fabrication processes run efficiently and according to plan.

 
Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Execute daily fabrication and measurement tasks according to the standard operating procedures and the pre-agreed flows.
  • Monitor and report any process deviations.
  • Create and submit reports of the results according to the pre-defined forms.
  • Provide service delivery expertise in operating micro- and nanofabrication tools or other relevant expertise.
  • Communicate and report to the lead person.
  • Provide service delivery in English (oral and written).
  • Continuously improve the service quality and efficiency.
  • Most tasks are repetitive and require a high level of precision and attention to detail. 

The majority of work takes place in a cleanroom environment.


Qualifications 

The ideal candidate has experience from a similar role such as Cleanroom Technician, Process Operator, Lab Technician within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or research industry.

We are primarily looking for someone with a technical or vocational background (e.g. technician, AP degree, or similar), combined with hands-on experience working in a cleanroom or controlled production environment.

  • Hands-on experience working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment (semiconductor, research or advanced manufacturing)
  • Understands clean room rules, protocols, and practices
  • Experience with handling samples and following precise process steps
  • Experience with precision equipment 
  • Experience with wet chemistry / chemical processes 
  • Used to working with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and structured workflows (focus on safety)

     

    Nice to have:

  • Experience with nanofabrication or semiconductor processing 
  • Experience with lithography processes (e.g. Electron Beam Lithography) 
  • Experience with basic metrology tools, such as optical microscopy or SEM 
  • Familiarity with measurement and inspection of patterns or dimensions (e.g. CD measurements) 
  • Experience working with advanced materials systems (e.g. III-V or similar)
